What's New?
EMRI's
new facility is the first
of it's kind in the United States.
I've studied and reviewed many systems
since starting the used oil refining business in 1979 and
have a working knowledge of several systems. Most have major
problems and have not been as rewarding as projected.
In 2003, our related company, Energy
& Material Recovery, Inc. completed the construction on
and is now operating the first new re-refining system of its
kind in the United States. This Portland, Oregon facility
was designed and engineered by PESCO, of Roanoke, Virginia
and is engineered to perform at 800 gallons per hour.
While the feed stock can cause the yield
to vary, our experience has demonstrated an average output
as follows: 1-3% light naphtha, 7-10% diesel fuels, 45-50%
Neutral Hi Vi (over 100) base oil, 30% 300 Neutral Hi Vi base
oil and around 10% asphalt flux still bottoms.
This is the fifth operating unit built
by PESCO, and we are working together constructing one or
more units per year.
The second has been constructed just
outside of Reno,Nevada and is in operation. See
pictures
These units are designed to be installed
in a used oil operation that has tankage and operating knowledge
of the used oil industry. We can start it up as an all new
business but must be satisfied that the used oil volume is
fully available by the end of construction.
Along with the refining system, we can
offer other products and services which are needed, such as
energy and material recovery, used food and grease recovery,
water recovery and treatment, used antifreeze (coolant) processing,
oily solids to energy and others. This combination of services
can increase the sales and net profits by over 50%.
I would welcome the opportunity to provide
more information and can arrange for group tours of our Portland,
Oregon operating facility. Please
contact us and we will show you why this is the
best all around oil re-refining system on the market.
